Tanking Help
Hey all
right now my W/D is having trouble tanking in FOW
this is my build right now
Endure pain
Berserker stance
signet of stamina
Defy Pain
dolyak signet
whirlwind attack
enraging charge
Vital boon
it works with quite a bit of difficulty....Im also very new to tanking in general.I have so far tryed many combinations and still have no firm tanking build. Im not neccesarily asking for builds here..but suggestions and such will help alot.

I don't play a warrior but when I have done FOW the tank usually had a build that looked like this:

Worked fairly well for them.

Uh... hover your mouse over the skills, then spec 12 into Earth Magic, 3+1? into Tactics, and 12+1+1 in Strength.

I think he's referring to the fact that if your team is half-decent and not running gimmicks (like [[Cry of Pain]) you shouldn't be tanking (good monks do fine without tanks).

You don't need to spec an entire bar to tank as a Warrior... at MOST take Dolyak Signet or "I Am Unstoppable" to deal with knockdowns; otherwise, sentinel's, a shield, and good monks are enough.

Agreed with above wars shouldnt need to tank with good monks and we should be the guys who are applying pressure and blowing stuff up Erf shaker FTW!

QFT.
Tanking is good for solo farming if you have the right build, but in general play and in PvP it's of more limited use. Play smart and your monk should be able to keep your red bars up for you.

If you ever plan to "tank", bring an appropriate damage build and tell your monk to either bring [Prot Spirit] and [Shield of Absorption] or **** off.

I disagree:
in all seriousness, tanking can have its usefulness given the right situations, but more likely than not, tanking will end up slowing down your run compared to a decent warrior damage bar.
